					<description>While sending the half-eaten cheese sandwiches, would, indeed have been a ridiculous overreaction, I think in the end, the Cheese Sandwich Day 2006 turned out to be great fun for those who played along, and wasn't likely to result in anyone's hurt feelings, more of a hornet's nest, or even soggy mail. Plus we got some great recipes out of it!</description>

I couldn't agree more.  There's been far too much navel gazing over this whole thing.  If people are happy to put their views on a website for the world to see, they need to accept that not everyone is going to heap praise on them.  Especially those in the print media, who one might argue have a vested interest in being critical of blogging.  Interesting though that the likes of Bruni now have their own blogs.&lt;br /&gt;
