dazzling delightful delicious.
A new food magazine is hitting newsstands: dazzling delightful delicious. The magazine ($3.99 per issue) is published by Reader’s Digest, which also publishes Taste of Home and Everyday with Rachael Ray. Based on an award-winning Australian magazine (Delicious), dazzling delightful delicious is the same size as a Reader’s Digest.
According to the Miami Herald, the new magazine discusses “travel, kitchen design and celebrity chefs (Jamie Oliver), but the main attractions are the 65 gorgeously photographed recipes, most of them of the lusty, full-calorie variety (chorizo and chickpea pan-fry; pork chops with nectarine chutney; pear, blue cheese and roast beef salad; lemon and mascarpone ice cream).” Media Life explains that the target audience is women 25-49 and that the pint-sized magazine is aimed at “an in-between audience that is more upscale and affluent than Martha Stewart’s Everyday Food or Every Day with Rachael Ray.”
Because it is a new magazine, comparisons, like this one offered by Atlanta-Journal Constitution, are inevitable: “The new magazine is similar in size and style to Everyday Food, from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, but with celebrity chefs and a bit more flash. Everyday Food, on the other hand, offers gentle encouragement and a host of practical features like lunchbox suggestions and make-ahead meals.”
There is also a dazzling delightful delicious magazine/book hybrid in the works, which will release soon for $14.99.

I just bought the easy summer recipes book. The recipes in this are wonderful, especially liked the san choy bau (lettuce wraps),prosciutto wraps and the low fat cheese cake. Can’t wait for the next one. I buy all the cookbooks in the check out line out the market. I have to say this has been the best one yet. Thanks again Karen
