Raw Food Enters Hartford


Let’s face it. Connecticut isn’t exactly one of the most progressive places in the United States, but at least these Nutmeggers try (yes, people in Connecticut refer to themselves as Nutmeggers … I am a transplant from New York and just DO NOT understand).

Well anyway, Connecticut’s capital city Hartford is going to see a transformation in one of its restaurants to being raw. What that means is that dishes there will come from veggies and fruits and herbs that haven’t been cooked. And that doesn’t mean you will have a choice of carrot sticks or a salad. Raw food is an intricate art that combines flavors and textures in ingenuitive ways.
