Well, don't waste your time on the recipes. The couple of complicated ones I have tried, raisin breakfast cookies and namu shoyu crackers were inedible to say the least. Ugh! What a lengthy disaster! The cookies tasted like flax seed dust and the namu shoyu were way too salty with the Briggs and Namu sauces. So disappointed!

Yes, many of the complete "raw" meals were just so complicated that I would rather enjoy a big salad. I have come across a raw cookbook which seems to be a bit better, Ani's Raw Food Kitchen. The only thing I am not big on is the huge dependency on dates for sweets, smoothies, etc., but her recipes are much simpler and an easier way to trial raw I think.

I feel as you do. I feel great when I'm eating salads w/avacados, cukes, etc. but beyond that I don't know what else to eat raw. I also have a concern about salmonella.
