Seen my first Gourmet book in a dental office and wish I had taken it, but I don't take magazines from offices,,It was a 2008 Jan. issue with the most fantastic recipes in it. When I went back to the dentist it was gone........Does any one have an extra one the don't want or want to sell....I ordered Gourmet magazines now and just love them.

I agree with you completely, Persephone. It has been a long time since Gourmet has had an issue this great! Glad you were able to snatch up a copy!

The January issue is so good. While visiting my sister I had been surfing epicurious and noticed all the Edna Lewis recipes, who I dearly love. So on the way home I had a lay-over and while in the airport I made a point to go and get that particular issue. It is one of the best issues in a long time. It is sure to become a collector's issue.
