Reading this article during the glorious weather we’d been having lately in the San Francisco Bay Area inspired a visit to a nearby farmer’s market (which opened for the season last Thursday). It’s amazing what really fresh produce does to your meal!

Not only that, a trip to the local farmer’s market makes you realize that even adding a few locally grown ingredients to your dinner table makes a difference to the environment AND the local farmer who needs your business to keep on growing.

Yum. Summer is almost here.
